Melton Classic 2022
Nomination rings are now on sale for the Melton Classic 2022 race.
Rings purchased will work on a nomination system, which means:
For each Melton Classic 2022 nomination ring purchased, you nominate 1 yearling pigeon to fly in the Classic. Nomination rings are not placed on the bird as a life ring.
Bird nominations must be received in writing by 1. August 2022 to qualify (email preferred) and rings must be produced on basketing night.
Auction will be held on 28. January at the Melton club rooms.
Bird from this sale will be eligible for both the Melton Classic and the Sovereign Sprint in 2022.
Rings sold at the auction will also be eligible for both races but are sold as rings not nominations and must be on the bird as a life ring.
Nomination Rings $20 each
Prize money TBC – depending on Ring and Auction sales.
